Tandem Roof Rack – Roof-Mounted Tandem Bike Rack

The Tandem Roof Rack is a universal roof-mounted bike rack designed for transporting tandem bicycles. Its low-profile, durable construction provides stable mounting, making it suitable for both everyday transport and longer journeys.

The rack is made from corrosion-resistant aluminium and contains no plastic components. This makes it lightweight, durable and suitable for long-term use in changing weather conditions. Its low-profile design helps reduce aerodynamic drag, while the rack measures approximately 6.35 cm high when folded.

The rack is attached to roof bars using 9.5 mm carriage bolts and locking barrel nuts, providing a secure and stable installation. The Flush Mount kit is compatible with Thule, Yakima, Whispbar and other roof bars featuring an upper T-slot channel, creating a clean and streamlined installation.

The rack arms hold the bicycle exclusively by the tyres, without contacting the frame or forks. This helps protect the bicycle from scratches and makes the rack suitable for a wide range of frame designs. As standard, it accommodates tyres up to approximately 7.6 cm wide. With the optional wide-tyre spacer kit, it can accommodate tyres up to approximately 12.7 cm wide.

An upgraded one-handed operation version is also available. Its redesigned guide and red release lever allow the rack arms to be opened and closed easily with one hand. An audible and tactile click confirms that the mechanism has locked securely around the bicycle.
