Vanilla Custom Gear XtraPlate 300 – Additional Mounting Panel for Vanilla MultiFix

The Vanilla Custom Gear XtraPlate 300 is a universal 30 cm-high mounting panel designed for the Vanilla MultiFix L and Vanilla MultiFix R base racks. It increases the number of options for securing additional cargo to the rear doors of a campervan.

The panel is suitable for long expeditions, campervan trips, weekend getaways and wild camping. Thanks to the Vanilla Grid hole pattern, additional accessories such as jerry cans, recovery boards, storage boxes and other equipment required during travel can be attached to it.

The XtraPlate 300 is made from 4 mm PA11 / AW-5754 aluminium. This material offers high corrosion resistance, low weight and excellent durability. The components are laser-cut and formed using digitally controlled press brakes, ensuring precise manufacturing and a proper fit with the Vanilla Custom Gear system.

The surface is protected with finely textured RAL 9005 black powder coating. Blackened stainless steel bolts are also used, ensuring that all components are corrosion-resistant and suitable for expedition use.

The panel can be installed at different heights on the Vanilla MultiFix rack, allowing the configuration to be adapted to current requirements. The XtraPlate 300 can also be installed on GearBar or GearBar 550 Folding supports to create an additional surface for securing cargo.

When required, the panel can be removed easily and replaced with other Vanilla Custom Gear accessories, such as the CargoCube 60, CargoBox 90 or CargoBox 110.
