Vanilla Custom Gear BikeSet Folding – Folding Bike Rack for Campervans

Important: The BikeSet Folding is installed on the right-hand Vanilla MultiFix R base rack. Bike frame holders are not included and must be selected separately to suit the specific type of bike frame.

The Vanilla Custom Gear BikeSet Folding is a folding aluminium bike rack for campervans, designed for installation on the right-hand Vanilla MultiFix R base rack. It was developed to provide a stable and convenient way to carry bikes on the rear doors of a campervan.

The kit consists of folding GearBar 550 Folding supports, BikeRail wheel rails and a BikeGrab tube to which the bike frame holders are attached. When not in use, the rack can be folded upwards so that it does not protrude significantly beyond the rear of the vehicle.

The BikeSet Folding is made from 3 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm PA11 / AW-5754 aluminium, depending on the component. This material offers high corrosion resistance, low weight and excellent durability. The components are laser-cut and formed using digitally controlled press brakes, ensuring a high level of manufacturing precision.

The surface is protected with finely textured RAL 9005 black powder coating. Blackened stainless steel bolts are also used, ensuring that all components are corrosion-resistant and suitable for expedition use.

Once the BikeRail rails have been removed, the kit can be used in a different configuration. XtraPlate 100 or XtraPlate 300 panels can be installed on the GearBar 550 Folding supports to create a universal folding cargo platform. The supports themselves can also be transferred to the left-hand Vanilla MultiFix L base rack and used for applications other than carrying bikes.
