The Reika Rambler Super Single kit for the Sprinter 3500 converts the rear axle from dual wheels to single wheels. The system reduces weight, improves traction, simplifies tyre servicing and prevents debris from becoming trapped between the rear wheels.
The Reika Rambler Super Single wheel kit is designed to convert the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 from its factory rear dual-wheel configuration to a single wheel on each side of the rear axle. The system was developed for expedition, overland and off-road vehicles where lower weight, improved traction and easier wheel and tyre maintenance are important.
The Super Single conversion reduces unsprung weight and eliminates the problem of stones, mud and other debris becoming trapped between the rear dual wheels. A wider tyre contact area improves traction on loose surfaces, while using a single wheel on each side makes tyre servicing, rotation and replacement easier.
The kit is designed to work with the standard Sprinter braking system and compatible upgraded brake kits. Its construction meets DOT requirements, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road use.
The kit includes mounting hardware, including 24 M14 × 1.5 spline bolts and a wheel bolt key. Two front centre caps are also included. Rear centre caps are not compatible with the Super Single configuration.
