Vanilla Custom Gear LadderRack – Ladder and Base Rack

Important: The LadderRack is designed for installation on the right-hand rear barn door with 180-degree hinges. The product is mounted directly to the vehicle’s rear door and hinges.

The Vanilla Custom Gear LadderRack is an aluminium ladder and base rack for campervans, designed to provide convenient access to the vehicle roof. It makes it easier to inspect solar panels, clean the roof, remove snow, access a roof rack or use a roof terrace.

The ladder can also serve as a base rack for mounting additional accessories. Thanks to its hole pattern, which is compatible with the Vanilla Custom Gear system, it can be used to secure cargo and expedition equipment or as a mounting base for the PowHunter multipurpose box.

The LadderRack is made from 3 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm PA11 / AW-5754 aluminium, depending on the component. This material offers high corrosion resistance, low weight and excellent durability. The components are laser-cut and formed using digitally controlled press brakes, ensuring precise manufacturing and a proper fit with the vehicle.

The surface is protected with finely textured RAL 9005 black powder coating. Blackened stainless steel bolts are also used, ensuring that all components are corrosion-resistant and suitable for expedition use.

The product features openings suitable for M8 bolts and attachment points for securing straps, increasing the number of options for carrying additional cargo. The kit includes all required bolts, mounting hardware, thread-locking adhesive and printed installation instructions.
