The roof rack for the Subaru Forester SG is fully modular and can be configured by the user to suit individual requirements.
It is installed using the factory roof rails. Installation also requires drilling holes in the rails so that the adapters can be secured with rivets.
The crossbars and side rails feature mounting holes for accessories such as tie-down hooks, cargo trays, strap holders, QuickFist mounts and auxiliary lighting brackets. They also include openings for routing electrical cables.
The main rack structure is made from aluminium, while the mounts, brackets and tie-down hooks are made from steel. The side rails and crossbars are finished in finely textured Gun Metal powder coating, while the remaining components are powder-coated black with the same fine-textured finish.
