The guard protects the ABS sensor and wheel speed sensor on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The wheel speed sensor records the rotational speed of the wheel and works with the vehicle’s anti-lock braking system. Due to its position directly behind the wheel hub, it is particularly vulnerable to damage from stones, branches and debris encountered during off-road driving.
In cold climates, snow and ice can also build up in this area, which is a common cause of damage to the wheel speed sensor and ABS sensor wiring.
The Agile Offroad guard is made from anodised 6061 aluminium and provides protection against ice build-up, snow, mud and debris.
