Vanilla Custom Gear Multishelf – Cargo Platform for Vanilla MultiFix

Important: The Multishelf is designed for installation on the Vanilla MultiFix R or Vanilla MultiFix L base rack.

The Vanilla Custom Gear Multishelf is a durable aluminium cargo platform designed for installation on the Vanilla MultiFix system. It provides a stable way to carry additional luggage, outdoor accessories and larger items on the rear doors of a campervan.

The platform measures 70 × 40 cm, making it suitable for transporting equipment that does not fit inside the vehicle. When properly secured with transport straps, the cargo remains stable even when driving in more demanding off-road conditions.

The Multishelf is made from 4 mm PA11 / AW-5754 aluminium. This material offers high corrosion resistance, low weight and excellent durability. The components are laser-cut and formed using digitally controlled press brakes, ensuring precise manufacturing and a proper fit with the Vanilla Custom Gear system.

The surface is protected with finely textured RAL 9005 black powder coating. Blackened stainless steel bolts are also used, ensuring that all components are corrosion-resistant and suitable for expedition use.

The platform features the Vanilla Grid hole pattern, allowing additional cargo to be secured using M8 bolts or Airline-style fittings. Attachment points for transport straps improve the stability of the carried equipment and provide more cargo configuration options.

The Multishelf can be installed at different heights on the Vanilla MultiFix rack, allowing the platform position to be adapted to current requirements. It can accommodate items such as a folded child bike trailer or other touring accessories.
