This allows BCDC Core to charge efficiently from the alternator and solar panels at the same time, providing maximum charging performance in every situation.

Maximum charging efficiency

BCDC Core features a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator and Green Power Priority. These technologies allow the unit to charge simultaneously from solar power and the alternator, maximising charging speed while reducing alternator load and helping to save fuel.

Compact and quiet design

With no noisy fans or relays and a compact footprint, BCDC Core can be easily concealed, leaving more space in the cabin for more important equipment. Avoid spoiling the appearance of your interior with bulky electronics. Install the unit beneath the rear floor, behind a side panel or under the seats for a clean, factory-style finish.

With charging profiles tailored to specific battery chemistries, including lithium, BCDC Core ensures your batteries are ready for every adventure. The award-winning technology used in BCDC Core has been independently verified and tested to maximise battery life by charging the battery to a confirmed 100%.*

For most applications, the BCDC Core 25A is suitable for battery banks with a capacity of 60–200 Ah for AGM and lead-acid batteries, and up to 100 Ah for lithium batteries. Check your battery manufacturer’s specifications and make sure the charger’s continuous current rating does not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended maximum charging current. For battery banks above 200 Ah, REDARC recommends the BCDC Core 40A.
